Heavy rain this autumn revealed more work than expected. To stop further damage, the saloon was sheeted over and moved into covered storage.
The repairs include leaking windows, rusting body panels, damaged woodwork and doors, and a guard’s compartment whose paint has failed. We aim to return her to service in 2027.
